“P&F have been my lawn service for 3 years now. They never disappoint. They are always on schedule and they do a great job on my lawn. Because of my lack of time, my flower bed had a lot of weeds growing, and it was too much for me to tackle so that I could plant my flowers for the summer. P&F came and weeded my flower bed and laid down mulch for me. They are very professional and very kind. I would recommend them to anyone who needs lawn service or landscaping done.”
Sprinkler System Repair & Service in South Jersey
Sprinkler and irrigation system tune-ups, repairs and seasonal start-ups so your landscape gets exactly the water it needs.
What to expect from P&F
A sprinkler system is supposed to save you time. When a zone stops working, a head sprays the street, or brown spots show up next to soggy ones, it does the opposite.
We service residential irrigation systems in Marlton, Sewell, Turnersville, Cherry Hill and the surrounding area. That includes spring start-ups, fixing broken heads and leaks, adjusting spray patterns, and setting controllers so your lawn gets the water it needs without waste.
In our sandy South Jersey soil, water moves through fast. A system that is tuned correctly makes a real difference in how your lawn and beds hold up in July and August. In the fall, we blow out the lines before freezing weather so you are not facing cracked pipes in spring. We explain what we find at each visit in plain language, and you get a free, itemized estimate before any repair work beyond the service you booked. Many customers pair irrigation with our lawn service, so the crew mowing your grass can flag a broken head the same week.
Our irrigation service process
Start-up and inspection
We turn the system on slowly, check the backflow device for leaks, and run each zone to see what is working and what is not.
Repair and adjust
We replace broken heads, fix leaks, clear clogged nozzles and aim heads so water lands on grass and beds, not the driveway.
Set the schedule
We program the controller for your plants, sun exposure and any local watering days.
Winterize
Before the first hard freeze, we shut off the water and blow out the lines with compressed air to protect pipes and fittings.
Before you book
Odd/even watering schedules
Some utilities, including Evesham MUA and WTMUA, use odd/even summer watering days. We can program your controller to follow your town's rules.
Backflow testing
Your system's backflow preventer protects drinking water. Many towns and water utilities have testing requirements, so check with yours.
Winterize before the freeze
Water left in lines can freeze, crack pipes and damage fittings. We schedule blowouts in fall so systems are empty before cold nights set in.

“This team does an awesome job! They are very professional and detail oriented. I have used 5 different companies this year and this is the first to actually listen and cut at the height I requested. Pablo is a true professional that puts the client first and his team is very meticulous and detail oriented. They do “top notch” work. The lawn looks like a lush green carpet. I will be using them for other projects. If I could rate them a 10, I would.”
“I can't say enough good things about P&F Lawn Care. I work for a nonprofit preschool and reached out to David a few months ago as we needed a new lawn service. From day one, they have provided excellent service, proven to be extremely responsive and go above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. I have not hesitated to recommend them to friends as well. Thank you David and P&F Lawn Care for your exceptional work ethic and commitment to providing high quality service! We couldn't be happier!!!”
Irrigation Service questions
When should I winterize my sprinkler system in South Jersey?
Plan on winterizing in late October or November, before the first hard freeze. A blowout uses compressed air to clear water from the lines and heads so nothing cracks over winter. It is better to book early than risk a cold snap arriving before your appointment.
How often should I water my lawn with sprinklers?
In sandy South Jersey soil, most established lawns do best with deeper watering a few times a week rather than a little every day. Early morning is ideal. How much depends on sun, soil and grass type, and your town may limit watering days. We can set up a schedule that fits.
Why is one sprinkler zone not working?
Common causes include a bad valve or solenoid, a wiring problem, a clogged filter or a broken line. Sometimes the controller setting is simply off. We check each piece of the zone and tell you what we find before making repairs.
Do you install new sprinkler systems?
Our focus is servicing and repairing existing systems: start-ups, tune-ups, repairs and winterization. If you are planning a new landscape, give us a call and we can talk through your options, including how irrigation fits with new sod or plantings.
Why are some spots brown even though the sprinklers run?
Uneven coverage is the usual cause. A head may be tilted, blocked by a shrub that grew in front of it, clogged, or set to the wrong arc. Sandy spots also dry out faster than the rest of the lawn. We run each zone, watch where the water actually lands, and adjust heads so coverage overlaps the way it should.
