“P&F have been my lawn service for 3 years now. They never disappoint. They are always on schedule and they do a great job on my lawn. Because of my lack of time, my flower bed had a lot of weeds growing, and it was too much for me to tackle so that I could plant my flowers for the summer. P&F came and weeded my flower bed and laid down mulch for me. They are very professional and very kind. I would recommend them to anyone who needs lawn service or landscaping done.”
Weekly Lawn Mowing & Lawn Care in South Jersey
Reliable mowing, edging and care on a schedule that fits your property. A healthy, manicured lawn you never have to think about.

What to expect from P&F
Good lawn service is mostly about showing up. Same day, every week, cutting at the height you asked for, and leaving the driveway cleaner than we found it. That is what our customers mention most in their reviews, and it is what we work hardest to keep doing.
We mow, edge, trim and blow off lawns on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule for homes in Clementon, Somerdale, Lindenwold, Cherry Hill and nearby towns. Our own crew does the work. No subcontractors and no rotating strangers in your yard.
Want stripes? We can do that. Prefer the grass a little taller through the summer? Just tell us. Your lawn gets cut the way you like it, and if something looks off, like a bare patch or grub damage, we let you know. Pricing is straightforward. You get a free written estimate for your yard, and your service starts on a regular day of the week so you always know when to expect us. If you need a one-time cut before a party or a listing, just ask.

Before you book
Mow high in summer
Our cool-season lawns of tall fescue, bluegrass and rye hold up better in summer heat when cut higher. Taller grass shades the soil and helps sandy ground hold moisture.
Don't scalp it
We follow the one-third rule, never taking off more than a third of the blade at once. After a rainy stretch, that may mean a slightly higher first cut.
Weekly vs. bi-weekly
In spring, when grass grows fastest, weekly mowing usually looks and performs best. Bi-weekly can work in drier stretches or on slower-growing lawns.

“This team does an awesome job! They are very professional and detail oriented. I have used 5 different companies this year and this is the first to actually listen and cut at the height I requested. Pablo is a true professional that puts the client first and his team is very meticulous and detail oriented. They do “top notch” work. The lawn looks like a lush green carpet. I will be using them for other projects. If I could rate them a 10, I would.”
“I can't say enough good things about P&F Lawn Care. I work for a nonprofit preschool and reached out to David a few months ago as we needed a new lawn service. From day one, they have provided excellent service, proven to be extremely responsive and go above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. I have not hesitated to recommend them to friends as well. Thank you David and P&F Lawn Care for your exceptional work ethic and commitment to providing high quality service! We couldn't be happier!!!”
Lawn Service questions
How high should I cut my grass in New Jersey?
For most South Jersey cool-season lawns, around 3 to 4 inches is a good target, and a bit higher during hot, dry summers. Taller grass develops deeper roots, shades out weeds and handles drought better. If you have a preferred height, we cut to it every visit.
Is weekly or bi-weekly mowing better?
Weekly mowing is healthier for most lawns during peak growth in spring and early summer, because each cut removes less of the blade. Bi-weekly can be fine in slower months or on lawns that grow slowly. We can talk through what makes sense for your yard and budget.
Do I need to be home when you mow?
No. Most customers are at work when we come. Just make sure gates are unlocked, pets are inside and toys or hoses are off the lawn. If there is a gate code or a spot to avoid, let us know once and we will remember it.
Should grass clippings be bagged or left on the lawn?
When the lawn is mowed regularly, leaving short clippings on the lawn returns nutrients to the soil and does not cause thatch. We blow clippings off driveways, walks and patios so hard surfaces stay clean. If clippings are heavy after a long wet stretch, we can deal with clumps.
What if it rains on my mowing day?
Cutting soaking wet grass tears the blades and can rut the lawn, so we shift the visit to the next workable day. We keep the delay as short as possible and get back on your normal schedule right after. During long rainy stretches, we may cut a little higher on the first pass to avoid scalping.
