“P&F have been my lawn service for 3 years now. They never disappoint. They are always on schedule and they do a great job on my lawn. Because of my lack of time, my flower bed had a lot of weeds growing, and it was too much for me to tackle so that I could plant my flowers for the summer. P&F came and weeded my flower bed and laid down mulch for me. They are very professional and very kind. I would recommend them to anyone who needs lawn service or landscaping done.”
Paver Patios, Walkways & Driveways in South Jersey
Custom-designed patios, walkways and driveways laid with precision and built on a proper base so they stay level and beautiful for decades.

What to expect from P&F
A paver patio should look just as good in ten summers as it does the day we finish. Most of that comes down to what you never see: the digging, the base and the edges. That is where we spend our time.
P&F Lawn Care builds paver patios, paver walkways and paver driveways for homeowners in Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Haddonfield and the rest of South Jersey. We are a family-owned crew out of Clementon, and the people who give you the estimate are the people who show up to build it. No subcontractors.
Whether you want a simple walkway from the driveway to the front door or a full backyard patio with a seat wall, we lay it out with you first, then build it on a base sized for how it will be used. A driveway carries a car. A patio carries a grill and a table. They are not built the same way, and we don't pretend they are. Before any digging starts, you get a free, itemized estimate that spells out the size, the base depth and the materials, so you can compare it line by line.
Our hardscape installations process
Site visit and layout
We measure, talk through how you use the space, check grade and drainage, and mark out the shape. You get a free, written, itemized estimate.
Excavation and base
We dig out the area, add fabric where needed, then place and compact the aggregate base in lifts. A driveway gets a deeper base than a patio.
Laying the pavers
Bedding sand is screeded flat, pavers go down in your pattern, and cuts are made clean along borders, steps and curves. Edge restraint goes in along the perimeter.
Joints and walk-through
We sweep in polymeric sand, compact the surface, mist it to set the joints and clean up. Then we walk the finished project with you.
Before you book
Permits in your town
Many South Jersey towns, including Cherry Hill and Washington Township, require a zoning permit for a new patio because it adds impervious coverage. We will point you to the right office before we start.
HOA approval
If you live in a community like Kings Grant in Marlton, your HOA will likely want to see the plan, materials and colors first. We can give you what you need for the application.
Sandy soil and drainage
Our sandy Coastal Plain soil drains well, which helps. We still pitch every patio away from the house so water runs off instead of toward your foundation.

“This team does an awesome job! They are very professional and detail oriented. I have used 5 different companies this year and this is the first to actually listen and cut at the height I requested. Pablo is a true professional that puts the client first and his team is very meticulous and detail oriented. They do “top notch” work. The lawn looks like a lush green carpet. I will be using them for other projects. If I could rate them a 10, I would.”
“I can't say enough good things about P&F Lawn Care. I work for a nonprofit preschool and reached out to David a few months ago as we needed a new lawn service. From day one, they have provided excellent service, proven to be extremely responsive and go above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. I have not hesitated to recommend them to friends as well. Thank you David and P&F Lawn Care for your exceptional work ethic and commitment to providing high quality service! We couldn't be happier!!!”
Hardscape Installations questions
How long does a paver patio take to install?
Most residential patios and walkways take a few days once we start, depending on size, access and weather. Excavation and base work take the most time. Driveways and patios with steps or seat walls take longer. We give you a realistic schedule with your estimate and keep you posted if rain pushes anything.
Why do pavers sink or shift, and how do you prevent it?
Settling almost always comes from a thin or poorly compacted base, or missing edge restraint. We excavate to the right depth, compact the aggregate in lifts rather than all at once, and install edge restraint around the perimeter so the pavers stay locked together under foot traffic or vehicles.
What is polymeric sand and why use it?
Polymeric sand is joint sand mixed with a binder that firms up after it is swept in and misted with water. It holds the pavers together, resists washing out in heavy rain and makes it harder for weeds and ants to move in. It is the standard finish on the paver work we build.
Can you add a walkway or driveway to match an existing patio?
Usually, yes. We look at the paver style and color you already have and help you find a close match or a border that ties the two together. If an exact match is no longer available, we can suggest a complementary option that looks intentional rather than patched.
How much does a paver patio cost?
It depends on size, the paver you choose, how much digging and grading the site needs, and access for equipment. Rather than quote a range that may not fit your yard, we come out and measure. Every estimate is free and itemized, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
